Default Favre to have surgery

Hey Yoop, I read the other day that Pack Coach Mike McCarthy said that Brett is gonna have ankle surgery soon but should be ready for mini-camp. Did he get it hurt during a game or something?

It's an pretty old injury that Brett said was going to be taken care of after the last game of the season. He didn't have it done

Default Bretts footballs ultimate Ironman

Brett takes small injuries constantly and you never hear about them on purpose. Because he doesnt want other teams pass rushers knowing and besides what difference does it make. Brett never sits and never will so there is no need to detail every minor issue with him. He has been putting of a few surgeries for years. There are very few even comparable records in sports for his streak of starts and none of them are in football.

This is coming from a long time cheese head and Packer Backer. Brett isn't as godly as John Madden makes him out to be. he's great don't get me wrong but the Super Bowl they won was because of the Defense.

And having one of the best QB's out there doesn't mean squat when the line can't protect him. They can't establish and maintain a running game. The receivers can't keep their hands on the ball.

Default Sure theres lots of holes

Yeah Im a long time pack fan as well. When I was the age you start actually paying attention to football I lived up that way. The team does have lots of issues but lets hope that the two rookie lineman inserted last year continue to improve. I believe Ahman Green will be gone and they will take Mershawn Lynch in the first round this year to refresh the run game.

I thought the Offensive line really started to Gel towards the end of the season and gave Brett pretty good protection. I think they'll be ok this year and Jennings has a year under his belt and I believe he'll be great this year.

All in all I think we'll be ok.

I think we Will get pick up a QB Batman because this will be it For Brett
