Super Bowl Snacks?
#1
Awright guys and gals, the Super Bowl is coming up next Sunday and I'll be camped out in front of the TV with my 2-liter bottle of Coke, microwave popcorn, peanuts, salsa dip, and chips. Brats and sauerkraut sounds good. Was just wondering: what kinda grub, snacks and junk food will everyone else be chowing down on?

I won't be watching it.
No chit, cherlock...our cable provider, Mediacom, has been having a squabble with Sinclair Broadcasting over costs. In the interim, they have pulled channel 2 from our lineup until it is remedied and yep, you guessed it...Super Bowl is on Channel 2. I really hate TV.

Yeah, homemade chicken,or chili stuff is good. So is brats. Make a potluck! Just mix,and serve. :P Hey Twilight, maybe you can get your channel 2. Yeah, that would stink much bad. That was like when Dallas played Atlanta. It was locally in Dallas, but it wasnt on TV here. Man,I was hot. :P

I usually fry em with onions and green peppers. I like Kielbasa.
I tell ya, I'm thinking of making chicken and sausage gumbo for Super Sunday. mmmmmmmmm that's good stuff! TF, that really sucks about the game not being on. I'll bet there's some ticked off people in the Iowa area this weekend.

The problem is Sinclair, the company that carries channel 2. They decided to up the charge by huge amounts for Mediacom and force Mediacom to carry a bunch of other channels no one wants. Doing so would end up jacking our individual rates up quite a lot. Mediacom said no, we don't want those extra channels...our customers just want #2. Sinclair CEO said "frankly, we really don't care what your customers want." No joke...what he said ticked off a LOT of people. You probably couldn't count the number of death threats he's been getting. Anyway, that's the schtick over here. Iowa and Illinois both are getting shafted here because of it. Not a pretty picture at all and I wouldn't get DISH if they gave it to me for free.
