Patriots over the Saints? What, are they having a touch football game at home before watching the two teams that actually made it to the Super Bowl?

The Patriots lost. Whoo Hoo!

My two favorite things about the NFL are:

#1. Watching the Cowboys win
#2. Watching the Patriots lose

I hate the Patriots worse than I hate the Redskins and from a Cowboys fan, that's saying something. I hate Tom Brady. I danced a jig when the Colts went up with 1 minute left to play and I ran around the house yelling like a banshee when Doofus Brady was picked off.

ok-fess up-what's the deal with you and Brady? He either stole your girlfriend-beat your college team when he was at U of M or beat you up-which one is it? :P
I know i've gotta be close with one of them

I will say that Brady has a little class, but his reign has ended!! Their coach there leaves a lot to be desired. They were beat hands down and he at least should have given them more credit.

You can't beat the Colts when they have 14 men on the field every play, 11 of em wearing blue and white and the other 3 wearing zebra stripes. Indy was getting away with murder on the pats recievers. This will not be a factor in the SB, Urlacher and friends are gonna shut the media darling down.

It never fails that when someones team loses they say the officials were on the side of the winning team. How about that so called touchdown when the receiver caught it at the back of the end zone? He was clearly out yet the officials called it a touchdown. It team has their own calls that benefit them directly and so does the other one. Call it what it was...and great game where the Colts beat the Patriots! You can't win every game and even Tom Brady said if he wasn't in the game, he would be rooting for Peyton!

I've gotta say that this was another great match-up. I tip my cap to Peyton Manning and the Colts. Also, happy for Tony Dunge, who IMO took a screwing at Tampa Bay. Game is over, and Colts played a he** of a game. They get full credit from me for their coming from behind at the end of the game. Certainly one of the best football games of the year, AND the Colts won fair & square.

I just don't like him, Yoopr. My college team is Iowa State...never played Michigan, so no issues there. I never said he was a bad QB, either. But as a human being and a representative of a scummy team like the Patriots, I can't stand him.

My problems with him stem from the Snow Bowl, the infamous tuck rule, and his taking advantage of a situation where the Patriots were going to win the Super Bowl because of 9-11, regardless of how they played.

I could go into a long-winded soapbox rant about them, but I won't. However, I read a fact-filled editorial a few years ago on the Patriots run to the Super Bowl after 9-11 and the amount of funny calls and downright blatant referee corruption that year in their favor was astounding. It was a very eye-opening article and I wish to heck I knew who wrote it and/or had a copy of it. The may have been a good team that year, but they lost the game against the Raiders, bottom line. I hate the Raiders, too, so it's not a team fan talking. More to the point, though...I hate what happened to the game of football that night and yes, I'm still bitter about it. So there. :P
