Back to what this thread started out as...playing some Texas holdem' last night w/some fellas and watching MNF, the MNF crew said "Champ Bailey is the #1 lockdown corner in the leauge" my immediate response was "How could they over look Ahmad Carrol? He's by far the best lock down corner in the leauge!!" All my friends stopped and looked @ me in disbelief thinking that me being the huge Razorback fan I am, that I was being serious. It was pretty good for a laugh. You know Ahmad was sitting @ home watching thinking "man, I'm as good as Champ, I'm da Champ!". Idiot.

Carroll to join Jaguars 10/10/06 The Jacksonville Jaguars today agreed to terms with veteran free agent cornerback Ahmad Carroll, who was released by the Green Bay Packers on Oct. 3. Carroll is expected to sign a contract on Wednesday. The Jaguars are also expected to place linebacker Mike Peterson on injured reserve on Wednesday after suffering a season-ending injury against the New York Jets. Carroll, 23, played in four games with one start for the Packers, recording six tackles, one sack and five passes defensed. The third-year veteran was originally drafted in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft out of Arkansas with the 25th overall pick. The Atlanta, Ga. native has started 28 of 34 career games with 104 tackles (95 solo), three sacks, three interceptions and 26 passes defensed. He has returned 21 kickoffs for 421 yards (20.0 avg.) with a long of 57 yards and returned one fumble for a touchdown

 'Ol Batman will be reunited with his former Razorback teammate (and former Hog quarterback) Matt Jones. Sure would be interesting to watch Batman try to cover Jones in practice! :rock:
