Yeah, I always thought he was so happy. He's always smiling. I guess he's like a bunch of these guys, $$ can't buy them happiness. I remeber when Deion Sanders was going through it...man.

Think what you will about T.O. (I personally don't like him myself), but when we're talking depression, lighten up. Unless you've experienced it, you have absolutely zero idea what it can do to a person and by making an off-handed comment like that, you're marginalizing the disease and making yourself look bad.

Also, I agree w/Twilight on not bashing depression. However, I do agree they are overpaid and shouldn't complain about most of the stuff they do complain about, but I wouldn't ever want to see someone try and do something like he did.

 

...and by judging me on my comments I am assuming you are an expert psychologist and know what drives everyone (TO and myself) on past life experiences. You don't know me and you absolutely do not support me so I really do not give a damn about how I look. I know who I am and am comfortable with my past accomplishments and contributions in life to my fellow man....take the political correctness and admonish someone else....take it as you wish but I am not really trying to offend, just defend.

 

I just read the whole story on CNN. It states that TO mentioned he was depressed, probably because his season was not going as he wants it to, but no where in the story was it mentioned that his depression was based on long term "clinical" implications or diagnosis. As is usual with TO, he plays it off like nothing, so that is what it is, nothing. By the way, never did I bash or mention "depression" in my initial post, as moderator I would expect a little more attention to detail. Have a great one.
