You guys can hardly beat the Cubs, playoffs ? good luck with that.
you are missing one huge element blacksheep, the cubs are bitter rivals and when they play the cardinals, they play hard. Its like sox yankees, midwest style. As far as the cardinals are concerned, they made 4 good trades in the past month that should help out tremendously on their bid in the playoffs. And besides, Im not too worried if they dont take it this year, they have the team pretty well in place to make the playoffs for the next couple of years. Pujols and Rolen are locked in contracts. Carpenter I think has 2 more yrs.

speaking of contracts, Roy Oswalt got him a nice extension with the Astros...5 years 73 million.

you got that right. Even in football, the phoenix cardinals beat the cowboys almost every year and thats about the only team they beat often. Even when they were in st louis you could almost count on them beating the cowboys and man, did the football cardinals stink. lol

pedros out so that might be a big problem for the mets. Edmonds is back for the cards which puts them at full strength in batting for months. We are only really missing isringhausen. So walk Pujols and deal with rolen and edmonds, good luck with that. GO CARDS !!!

I'd like to see the Tigers in it but we've still got a long way to go.
