Do you have to purchase a dump box to go on the frame? Or, can you "lease" that along with the trailer? Just curious.
Later,

Yeah the box and trailer are leased, my "lease" rate is a set at 12% each month of gross including the broker fees. If business is good down the road I may buy my own set but until I learn the biz I'm going to play it safe and keep the investment low.

I'm knocking around what I want to do with my trucking future and I know I'll be buying a truck at some point but for now I'm going out on the road for at least a year or better to work the bugs out after finishing at Western Pacific. Today was my first day and looking forward to tomorrow. One day at a time.
Yeah I'll make a post as I get down the road on how the biz is working and whatnot since there isn't a ton of info out there for "dirt haulers". I'll only drive the truck a couple of months myself, after that I'll be home running things. I've gone out on a few runs so far with the company and other O/O's there and its cake. I wish I did this off the bat when I started out, but seeing the country was nice too and I got a lot of learning in over the past year going OTR. How did you like Western Pacific school? I went to Western Truck School myself. Did you get hired anywhere yet?
