Do you still have your log books with trip and/or BOL numbers on them? If you do this can be used to show proof of work.

They aren't bad ...if you have experience with a qualcomm then you know what macro is ...with paperless logs you just type in a specific maco at Werner it's 8 and put in the numers 1-4 to choose your duty status ....There isn';t any need to keep track of the miles driven in each states highways for road tax...The qual comm is hooked into the trucks ECM so there is no need to record milage for your logs ,
\So basicly you just push a few keys and go the system does all the work you would do with a pen.
The bad there isn't any backing up your logs to make time...There isn't any averaging your time by the company by company logable speed X 11 hrs ...there isn't any driving extra today ,and showing it on your logs tomorrow and letting your time catch up to ...The qual comm knows as sonn as move the truck more an 1 mile ,and even if you don't put yourself on line 3 it will auatomaticy ,and now your 14 hr clock is ticking...So there is no parking a few miles from the shipper or receiver ,and heading over for your apopointment without claiming the time /starting your 14 hr clock...If your dispatcher sends you 5 miles down the road for an mt ,and it's not there ,and he sits you for 4 hours or more on stand by waiting your clock is still ticking .
Come to think about paperless kind of sucks with exception to to it's ease of no paper work ,but it really can screw you , But if your using it your already screwed ,because that means you're working for Werner .
