Laughing and joking about raping women crosses the line of any decency. Maybe if O&E end up homeless for their free speech rights, maybe THEN they will learn something. To try and drag these standards where you are going means that there should be no limits on any speech anywhere. Do you believe that a member of the military should be able to get on a radio and divulge national secrets? Should credit card companies or an employee thereof be able to give out your home address, phone and of course your credit card number? There are supposed to be self imposed limits to where these rights of speech go. Personal attacks and causing harm to innocent people is unacceptable. I would lose no sleep if they were fired forever. Who NEEDS to hear this?
Well - it's basically like this:
XM is a pay service. Channel 202 is listed as an XL (Extreme Language) channel. To me, they had their safety guards in place.
If it was on FM or AM radio, yes - they should've been fired.
I pay XM for the main reason of listening to them, no matter how offensive YOU think they are. And, again, if you don't like them, don't listen to them. In fact, you don't even need to post about them if you don't like them. Wow - how hard is that? You do know how to operate the controls on your radio, correct?
However, I think I may "suspend" my XM for 30 days as well.
