Default Previous employer *not* reporting you worked for them

I'm asking for a friend. He's drove for the same guy (3 trucks) for the past 8 years. He's decided to go elsewhere, but his previous employer is refusing to fill out & fax in the paperwork that says he drove for him.

Who does he need to call to report this. He lives in Georgia.

He can complain to the feds but don't expect much. Minds is blank right now for the cfr that requires them to respond. If they reported it to DAC/USIS get it there.

He doesn't report to anyone. As for the forms, he literally wads them up and throws them in the drivers face when he gets them.

W-2's and copies of tax returns, paycheck stubs, & log books should suffice.

Call the FMCSA to report it. The Employer requesting information should also report that they are not receiving the information.
