This is how I spent yesterday....He was about 1 inch over height for that overpass. Snatched the load partially off the trailer and shut down 3 lanes of traffic for 2 hours. And no permits.

Last time I saw one of those, it was in OH, and they shut down the bridge until they could say it was safe. Memory serves me right, it was almost a week. This doesn't look like he did anything to the overpass. Or did he miss the first few beams?

First let me say, these pics weren't from my phone or camera ....they showed up on a local news channel via someone elses phone. He scraped the first three beams before the load came off the deck and caused it to lodge. No damage to the structure besides paint scrapes. I don't know what his height was (traffic guys were called for that) but that overpass is 15' above the road surface. And yes he was written for the violations.
