Default sanctioned vs. non-sanctioned on MVR

Hi,

I just got a printout of my MVR from "US MVR Express". I have an entry on it for a ticket. It says "ACTN NON-SANCTIONED". NON-SANCTIONED is a good thing, right? As in NON-PENALIZED ?

Another way to phrase my question is "What is the meaning of the word 'sanctioned', as used in traffic law" ?

Thanks

Your best bet is to get ahold of your states DMV and find out. But i will note that the fact that theres anything at all mentioning a ticket is not a good sign. How long ago was the ticket issued?

I got the ticket in Aug, 2008. It wasn't on my record as of 12/2008.
