Default Corrective lenses restriction incorrectly placed on my licence

I received a letter stating due to my medical checkup, there would be a corrective lenses restriction put on my licence. This is incorrect, I do not need lenses and my checkup passed me with flying colors.

I will get this sorted out on monday, my company says I cannot go out until this is sorted out. No problem, I understand.

My question is, what would be the ramifications if I didn't? I mean, receiving a ticket or a "warning" wouldn't really matter, but getting into a serious accident, even if not at fault, could matter. That would worry me the most by far, and I feel it isn't worth the risk.

Most likely, you would receive a citation and get placed out of service.

Apparently I was wearing non-existant glasses during the medical.

Went back to the DVL, and got my eyes retested, boy was she suspicious.

well if the eye doc says you dont need glasses to drive, some states have a vision certification form that you can have the eye doctor sign and the dmv will accept it just as they did an eye test at the dmv. when i have to renew my license i will just get the form filled out by my eye doc and save hassle at the dmv.

Rev is correct, OOS for sure:

§391.11 General qualifications of drivers.

(b)(4) Is physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with Subpart E — Physical Qualifications and Examinations of this part;
Without the glasses when indicated the driver is not medically qualified.

Be safe.
