Default Get Your Rest

Seven years for seven lives seems a little light. Wonder when the local prosecutor is gonna charge the parents for their underage, unlicensed daughter driving the car?

Also be a good idea for a driver to get real rest before driving again. BOL

She had the learner's permit, though it doesn't say how long she had it or how close she was to being 16. In a rural area, I doubt that they're going to make a big deal out of it.

this may sound heartless but... why should it be any differ for the 15 yr old/ parents. If a driver is rear ended and his logs dont match then he is gets all the blame for it cause of the IF you were where you claim to be then it wouldnt have happened.

Sorry whats good for One is good for all

Default Crete Driver - More

Apparently he didn't know how to say no or call Crete's Safety Department.

Well everyone,

the next time your dispatcher starts trying to push you, or get you to run illegal, just send them the link above.

looks like crete is going to have a hell of a show on their hands. especially if there is q-com messages to back this drivers story.

ok, say what you want but when i'm tired i rest. when i'm awake i drive. this mentality may get me in truble one of these days with dot or my company but it's kept me out of wreaks.

One thing that I did not see in those links, was he within his HOS? If so how is any Co. responsible if a driver didn't get the rest they should have? I think we can all agree that he should have said no if he was sleepy , BUT why was he so tired? Was he sick, just couldn't sleep , up party, what? He was the one up 34 hrs the real question is did Crete know about it? If Crete was then yes they should be on the hook too, if not then no they shouldn't be.
