Default Marten Transport lied to DAC how do I fix this?

I worked for Marten trans for only 3 wks. I was on time every load. It's not like I could have been late since they liked to give me 2 or 3 more days than I needed.
I complained about the miles but it never improved. When HR dept called me to ask my opinion on the company. I told them the truth. The company gave me no miles and most of the people working at Marten trans acted like the drvrs had diseases or something. There was no respect for drvrs what so ever.

I told them this. Hey they asked. I was respectful about it though. I didn't cus or yell. After that Marten said they would like me to come to the terminal to talk about my concerns. I thought we were actually going to talk about my problems with the company. Instead they fired me. For complaining! I was livid! What kind of a loser place is this where no one can have an opinion I thought? On top of that they took my last check (to pay for oreintation they said) and wouldn't provided transportation home.
I live in CT and their term was in WI. I hitched back with a friend.

Like all that is not enough this Basta%#a$$ company actually had the nerve to put that I broke a policy!!!!! I am so pissed about this. If there's a policy against complaining than yeah I broke it. But I doubt it since this is America not old Russia.

Does anyone know how I can get this off my record but I would also like to take action against Marten trans for their lies, and stealing money from their drivers. A few people I met in Orientation also left the company and Marten took their money. Everyone just stands for it.

I looked online but couldn't find out how to contact DAC and get the report changed.

I know alot of you who read this are going to be like "who cares?" but that's exactly why companies like this get away with this crap and if we all ignore it more and more will do it.

Please if you know respond and help me get this off my report.

What policy did they say you broke? I wouldn't worry about taking Marten to task. Just try to get your DAC corrected. Bottom line is you are an at will employee who can be let go for any reason at any time.

The question that everyone is going to ask is what is the rest of the story? I've never heard of a company firing a driver for the reasons stated. But there's a first for everything, I guess. :?

What is the rest of the story?
What policy did they say you broke?
What makes you so sure that they put an entry in your DAC report?

What you are saying doesn't make any sense. There has to be something else going on.

Unless they are saying that it was a form of slander towards the company. Saying certain things about the company, posting things, will get them on your tail because they fear that it will spread to other employees. I'd do like greg said and just try to get your DAC corrected!

Well fredog, descension, I think this is right, in the rank is one of the big fears of companies now and days. A lot of them slide stuff in when you sign on and if you don't read everything, people usually find out when it's to late. And like we always say, they have the money and lawyers to fight off your claims!!!

Dissent, I think?

I really think there's more going on here than we're hearing (reading...).

I know the older I get, my vocabulary, and memory gets worse! Spell check is becoming my best friend.. I think you are right Storm, something had to be said or done, more than what we have been told.

It seems that driver was labeled as a,"whinner" by the office staff and slowley STARVED out of a job. That's a shame.
