Depends completely on the state. State records generally vary between 3, 5, 7, and 10 and some of them are called forever states. Missouri, Pennsyvlania, and Massachussets all keep their records on file forever.
There is no way to get something (especially serious issues like DUIs) removed from your MVR without getting a lawyer to get it removed and there's no guarantee that even that would work.
3 DUI's is a killer. Not disclosing will do you no good...it will come up either on the MVR or criminal history report.
