The problem with that logic is that DUI convictions show up on criminal records in a lot of states. Typically a DUI is a misdemeanor conviction and a repeated DUI can go to a felony.

You can go to the DMV and fill out a history request form. Not sure what it is but once filled out and sent back in anything older then 10years is removed form the DMV record. Big Dog Kicks

Depends completely on the state. State records generally vary between 3, 5, 7, and 10 and some of them are called forever states. Missouri, Pennsyvlania, and Massachussets all keep their records on file forever.

There is no way to get something (especially serious issues like DUIs) removed from your MVR without getting a lawyer to get it removed and there's no guarantee that even that would work.

3 DUI's is a killer. Not disclosing will do you no good...it will come up either on the MVR or criminal history report.

And if your a drunk why would you even consider driving... Be smart and find out if you can stop the drinking.. Each State is different and yes I can over react sometimes. But if you have decided this is the right type of job. Then stop pulling that trigger and toss the gun to you head out the window. BOOZ in any form can only harm you. What

Someone asked me last week what i do for a livin i said I am a freight re-location expert and a customer service agent.. Big Dog Kicks

More states are listing DUI's as CRIMINAL acts and therefor are listed on your CRIMINAL record. I looked up MN and even the first offense for DUI is a misdemeanor CRIME. It also is a driving offense.

Quote:
Minnesota DWI / DUI law is similar to the drunk driving laws of other states, in that every Minnesota DWI arrest triggers two separate cases: a criminal court case, where a variety of drunk driving punishment is sought, and a Minnesota Department of Public Safety case, where your Minnesota driving privileges are affected.
So while it may fall off his driving record after 10 years, his criminal background check will always show 3 DUI convictions. And most companies pull a criminal history alonfg with a driving history. The only way to get that off would be to hire an attorney and get it expunged. But I highly doubt there is a judge in this country willing to have 3 DUI convictions expunged. Especially when they were spaced 9 years apart.
