running in new york

need some advise
i'm leased onto a small company and i've been dispatched to take a load of a/c's from the midwest to middle island, new york. do i need a permit or ?? to go into ny? i've always managed to avoid running in ny previously but looks like i've have to do this load :cry:

Ask the company that you're leased to. Normally the state of NY mails it to you and it is vert slooooooooooooow. Also, there should be a tax permit
in your book that goes along with the sticker, but if the cop does not see the sticker on your truck, he might stop you just for that. Check with your company on this, and if you don't have it, it might just be the proper excuse why you can't take the load. It could be costly. You might lose money on the deal.
