Drug use isnt one of those things that only affects the users life.
If he or she becomes lazy and worthless, loses his job and has to get on welfare, that affects me as a taxpayer. If the stoner has kids and ends up in prison, I the taxpayer will have to take care of his kids.
Billions and billions of dollars a year are lost by corporations because of illegal drug use. That affects me as an investor and a consumer.
If the little stoner lives nextdoor to me and is using illegal drugs, He is more than likely using a drug dealer. If that drug dealer is coming to my neighborhood that affects the ability for me to let my kids play in the yard.
Hell, evertime one of those !@%@# stoner morons Ive set up for orientation fails a drug test, they affect my paycheck. Sorry, I just dont feel bad for druggies not being able to find a job.
