That are not nice! Wow to have so much time on the hands to constantly find something wrong. Most of all when you tell them something the right way they believe they are right, just because it wasn't put to them exactly the way the book says it!
Sorry guys I guess you don't need me around and I really just thought that maybe I could help people, but I guess you have the 2 pro drivers that know it all! Revco and Gosh already forgot the other guys name! So you like bitter people instead of nice. Anyone can go to the DOT book and copy and paste or anyone can go and read the book, but evidentally you don't understand it from the book so you need it put to you another way right? So that is why I was here! I will stick around just to answer and if you don't like my answer well sorry, but you know I am telling you the FACTS! And if you listen then maybe you will learn tricks to the logs that are legal, but no other company tells you and allot of drivers don't know and allot do know! So I am here to help anyone, but I am not here to get slammed about the grammar or you thinking I am wrong every time I turn around Have a great night (I want say truckers are my friends, cause I got in trouble for that to) Just because I like to think you all are my friends I am a nice person, not a biatchy person!

DAWN'S WAY:
Originally Posted by Dawn

§395.2 Definitions.
On duty time means all time from the time a driver begins to work or is required to be in readiness to work until the time the driver is relieved from work and all responsibility for performing work. On duty time shall include: (1) All time at a plant, terminal, facility, or other property of a motor carrier or shipper, or on any public property, waiting to be dispatched, unless the driver has been relieved from duty by the motor carrier;
Question 2: What conditions must be met for a CMV driver to record meal and other routine stops made during a tour of duty as off-duty time?
Guidance: 1. The driver must have been relieved of all duty and responsibility for the care and custody of the vehicle, its accessories, and any cargo or passengers it may be carrying. 2. The duration of the driver's relief from duty must be a finite period of time which is of sufficient duration to ensure that the accumulated fatigue resulting from operating a CMV will be significantly reduced. 4. During the stop, and for the duration of the stop, the driver must be at liberty to pursue activities of his/her own choosing and to leave the premises where the vehicle is situated. DAWN'S WAY:
Umm you are not really driving when you are backing up your truck or when you are driving around to park your truck. Kind of like if you move your truck from one spot to another when you are at a truck stop and someone comes along and plays to loud of music so you want to go somewhere else! It is not driving you just moved around. DOT says anything UNDER 7.5 minutes you do not have to log! So I don't think (if you are a good driver) it would take you longer than 7.5 minutes to back up!
§395.2 Definitions.
Driving time means all time spent at the driving controls of a commercial motor vehicle in operation.
Question 9: A driver drives on streets and highways during the week and jockeys CMVs in the yard (private property) on weekends. How is the yard time to be recorded?
Guidance: On-duty (driving).

Jack: I am sorry I wasn't trying to OFFEND ANYONE. The main thing here is Rev seems to be so perfect, and if he would actually READ, I actually told him I was a female!
Mistakes happen and I understand that, it is when someone thinks they know it all and attacks people I have to correct. So Jack sorry if I offended you, but mostly anyone who knows Dawn & Don which is male and which is female. There is RAIR occassions in anyone's name it can be the opposite!
