But the Dophins really do work well. They have been used in Iraq..

Your all mental defectives. I'm not sure why I even post in here.

I for one enjoy reading your adventures make me realize how much fun it was out there since I can not do it anymore. PLEASE KEEP POSTING. Also remember we are all truckers and have to have a big sense of humor to survive everything that happens to us out here.

I was only joking. I actually fall into the bonehead category also so I fit right in.

Sorry your off the road.

I'll get home this Saturday and by Tuesday I'll be climbing the walls wanted to get back out there.

The bug has bit! Personally, I try really hard NOT to do 10k miles a month. 10k is just about right.

10K is WAY too much for one month. I think 5K is pushing it.

I am pretty happy with 6k to 8k per month, but I haul equipment and military loads. The pay is pretty good.

Well, I did 680 miles yesterday and not too bad since the speed limit was 70 to 75 most of the way. I haven't been doing over 70 because that shake in the front end gets real bad. I stopped and shut down at a rest area in Rolla, MO instead of a truckstop. I looked out the window and there's a cop sitting there and he's been there for a while.

I keep having to ask what day it is. :?

It's Thursday now and I have 1200 miles to go before my drop off point. I'm hoping to do a real good day today and deliver Friday and maybe make the 180 mile trip home after unloading. I think it will depend on how good I do today. Chances are I'll stop after unloading and try to take a nap.

Yesterday just over the border of MO there was a crash. It happened early in the morning on a hill. I guess a driver did a U-Turn over the median without any trailer lights on and another truck rear ended him at over 70 MPH. I went by around noon and the trailers were still on fire a little. I guess there was some other truckers who saw it happen and passed the word about it all day. The driver that rear ended the other guy was killed. When the first person stopped they said the driver that pulled the U-Turn was still in is seat belt filling out his log book and never checked the other driver.

If my memory serves me right isn't there an exit close by there? What a bone head to do a Uturn there in the first place.

Glad you are, I am enjoying reading your adventures.
