Steve....Stay OUT of OR!! That is a crappy rate to OR anyway and you wont get much coming out either. OR is full of heavy lumber and other CHEAP freight. Keep in mind to you PAY to run OR. When we were with Arrow it cost us .13 a MILE to run that state.

BUT if you insist on going up there, keep in mind there is no sales tax on ANYTHING so if you need any big ticket items that is the time to get them.

I hear you about OR, just want to see the country.

I forgot to mention that when my truck goes in on Saturday they are going to re-program my Jake on the computer. I had a feeling this could be done so I asked.

When I have my cruise control on like 65 the Jake does not come on until 68 and it comes on low. Then to 70 and it comes on med. Then to 71 and onto high. By this time it's been useless and running the risk of a ticket. So....

I'm having them program it so that when I reach 2 miles over it comes on high and stays there until it comes back down to the speed I set the cruise at. Low and medium are good for nothing.

What general area of Oregon are you heading for?

Medford, OR. It was put off for 2 or 3 weeks. The customer is not ready to receive the delivery. I guess it's a prefab house or log cabin and the foundation is not ready yet.

You'd be better off to rent a car for a few days.....Lumber comes out of Medford.

The load was put off for a few weeks. I got a call this morning from the crane company that I've hauled for before and taking a crane to Colorado on Monday.

This is the company that just threw stuff onto my flatbed and got damaged and parts would fly out of the boxes. I complained a few times before but it fell on deaf ears. When I talked to them today I guess my letter did make it to management and there is a whole new crew packing and loading. I was told they were actually sent to school on load securement!!!

My truck goes in tomorrow to get 4 new shocks on the rear so I hope that stops the tandems from bouncing. I'll find out on the way home because when I bob tail it's the worst.

Colorado sucks too....but you already knew that. I love CO though it is so pretty out there. Especially over in the mountians. I aways wanted to spend a few days over there and rent a car and just drive up those mountian back roads.... 8)

It is great here. Snow got a little crazy this year, but still a great place to live.
