Steve, their just forcasting showers all weekend here in Maryland. Also warm temps. I know you're a bit farther north but hopefully it's warm there too.

EDIT: I wish it would get cold here in the Northeast, I've been dragging this cold around with me for three weeks.

I'm sitting here watching Slumber Party Girls or something like that. It's a Saturday morning kids show. It's either that or 25 Mexican speaking programs. I have Click and the new Pirates of the Caribbean that I haven't watched yet. I can hear all the drivers on the CB saying how bad it is and this place is filling back up.

I'm in between Midland and Odessa GMAN. I can see the trucks on the highway and it looks like they are doing about 30mph but I understand that 25 miles up the road it starts to get really bad.

I feel bad for all the drivers that work for 33cpm. All they must think about is losing 33 cents for every minute they sit. I'm sure they are the ones pushing it.

Oh well, at least I'm in a good place, plenty of fuel, warm, dry and plenty of quarters to shoot all the aliens in the Area 51 game.

Starting to snow now. It's a veritable winter wonderland.

lol, you've been on the road too long there GMAN. Stop delivering to Roswell.

I just wish those games would allow you to calibrate the guns before starting the game. You have to compensate all the time and it's simple to incorporate a calibration mode.

Hey Steve, that sure is a lovely drive, isnt it,across I-20. A whole lot of nothing. :P Yeah, this winter storm blew in Friday. It is supposed to end, hopefully on Sunday, for north central Texas. Im not sure about the metromess(DFW metroplex). I think it is kinda mix rain, snow. Not as bad as the panhandle.

You remember Friday Night Lights, the movie? Odessa Permian. Real, school, real town, real football. :P Thanks for updating. Thanks,Twilight for keeping it open. :P

I've been single for over 12 years so that helps.

When your over 50 you don't hang with friends like you did when you were in your 20's and when you do see them it's like you were never away.

Both my boys are grown and have there own family and have there hands full at the moment as I did when I was there age.

Email is a great way of staying in touch too!

And then there's ACE, which is a intersnet based system for creating electronic manifests for shipments bound for the US. You should apply for an ACE account now. I believe it's free and there will be a huge backlog of applications when they make ACE mandatory.
