So far, the app has been accurate for me. One problem with the app is if a scale is opening and closing. It could give information based upon whether the scale was open or closed when the last driver updated the app.

So the drivers update the app? What if nobody using the app used that scale?

It works great for me. It hasn't been wrong yet. I don't use it to see if a scale is open or not.

The way the app works is that once a driver is about 1 mile passed the scale the app will ask you whether the scale is open or closed. The app will them time stamp the response and those accessing the app can see whether the scale is open at that time. It is no guarantee that the scale will be open or closed when you get to the scale, but since it is drivers reporting on the scale status, it is pretty accurate information and is usually in real time. Scale information is not all that is available on the app, but some like that feature.

This is what seems to be the case. App just sits at the last change a driver made. I've heard some drivers will flip parking to full just to hope a spot will be left when they get there.
