Yup! Moving Violations work the same way. You'd THINK they would have fixed that for themselves.

Are you including your pay for a expense??

I pay myself a set-salary. Anything left after that (plus setting money aside for taxes) stays in the business. There's only been one or 2 weeks that the business account didn't grow.
but, no - that $0.65-0.68 per mile is income after expenses, before my pay/taxes.

Profit- is what ever left after everything. Salary, benefits, taxes... $.68 per mile, is your gross income.

When I was a company driver, my income was $0.42 per mile. That paid for my income, my taxes and my benefits. So, the way I see it, I'm making $0.16 per mile more, which is a pretty good raise in my book.

Glad you are learning here.
If you, in take home pay as an o/o, can get $50k yourself, you are doing good.
But if your gross was $1.45 per mile, ouch.....
