Bigmon,
How did you pull loads for them? Did you sign up with Schneider? Did join one of their load boards?
Thanks in advance,
Tim

You can lease your own truck on with Schneider without having your own authority. The rates will be the same as what I would get.

I have my own authority. I got signed up as an outside carrier with them. The logistics division has a load board that anyone can see. I didn't see any of their other loads boards. I had an agent that would call to offer me loads. If I liked I took it. If not I would find my own load from someone else.

When you say "Agent" do you mean broker?

On their "Choice" program, you don't talk to anyone from Schneider unless you have a problem. They don't call you - you don't call them. You simply choose the loads you want from the Choice board and run them.

I was on the Logistics side and they have a dedicated guy that you work with that offers you loads.

Broad statements like that are impossible to make. Take a company like CH Robinson, you can make a lot of money with them or you could be screwed. I see checks coming in from Schneider. Check peoples credit that's all and if you get held up somewhere for 10 hours and some smaller broker won't pay for your time don't use them again.

Well, this is pretty much the 2 month mark. As of now, I average about 360 miles per day driving. Probably 80-85% drop and hook. I've put 21,603 miles on the truck. After expenses, I've made roughly $13,600. Of course, 29% of that goes to taxes.

Well, with your expenses, it shouldn't be that much, but better safe than sorry. Find a good accountant, it's well worth the money spend.
