Just wondering what others are seeing with rates. The past few weeks I am seeing more freight and higher rates. It was a long time coming this year. There are still some cheap rates, but over all, rates seem to be up. I have gotten calls recently from brokers that I have not heard from in several years.

I can't say I have seen things going stellar improvements, but a little better.

I hope you're right! I'm (crossing eyes and crossing fingers) hoping to get back on the road, soon, with an OO who must also be sensing an upturn in freight.
If this happens, I'll FINALLY get to proudly display my CAD gear on my rig!!!

Rates were unbelievable good for beginning of spring, than suddenly dropped to even below normal couple weeks ago. Talking dry box, Midwest, OH area....

aint that the truth. whatever happened 3 weeks ago after that weds.. freight disappeared... as did the rates. before that i was getting pretty much the highest rates i've seen with the pick and choose of what i wanted. after that freight is ultra low and the rates plummeted. i'm doing customer work now so i won't know until this weds how its looking.
