Default truc question

Before I start yes I know there are variables, but what do you think empty weight will be on 2007 Peterbilt 387 with C15 and fuller 13 speed, has Eatons rears. 230" wb, raised roof 72" sleeper with tripac apu. It has tandems, not super singles, has aluminum wheels. Trying to buy and woman says its 17,500 lbs, that sound right?

thread bump? or am I just bored? … you be the judge.

I need to dig out my road journal packed away somewhere. I put info like scale weights of the different rigs I drove. One was an '07 Pete 387 Cummins/10spd.
I kept customer info, directions, phone numbers, all the stuff the NSA would like to get their hands on.

I may have also kept thoughts about Shania. I would climb Mt. Shania relentlessly, if I could only find the base camp, and my OTR driving was part of that quest.

17,500- this is probably "dry" weight, with nothing in it. Actual i'd say between 19-20,000 lb.

There is an area in Roswell, New Mexico your gross weight can't exceed 13,300 lbs. (tractor, trailer and load)
You have to figure your weight at 1/6 gravity measure? so many regulations… I don't know.
It would be on the BOL.

I think it's because it's all unimproved roads.
