Hi all,
I've got a possibility of a getting dedicated run from Minneapolis, MN to Walker, MI. I haven't been thru Chicago for quite a few years. Can anyone tell me what the tolls would be from like Rockford through the Michigan border? Thanks.

This is old but check the little roads.
Rockford is that town to the west right? Theres a 2 lane highway just north of the toll road on that part with no toll. I used to save 25 a trip doing that. Chicago has metric tons of roads that arent 80/90. Avoid 80/90 and youre going to pay pocket change (not literally). Once you get out of chitago there are 2 lane highways north and south of the toll road that are fine, way more interesting to drive and will save you a fortune. 2 kinds of drivers run that long toll road: Company drivers whos pocket it doesnt come out of. Drivers who are more lazy than greedy :P The tollway IS sweet and dot/troopers wont bug you, just the opposite. |
