Default Better fuel economy from Diesel Spec in Montreal

hi,

i own a cat c15 2008 SDP 475 engine. Found many forum speaking about Diesel Spec tuning for better fuel economy and performance.

anyone had tried them?

Well, i remember Tracer did performance tuning. And i believe even TWICE! He was speaking highly about it. But it was done at a CAT dealer on a Dino.....

he did all that... gear change.. trans change... the "low resistance tires". me personaly.. think its BS. the way i think about it is that a motor is like a person. each has their own personality. just need to learn yours!

i really thought about doing what he did.. but.. for what my cat is and does.. i really can not complain. 435 MBN cat, 3.73's and a 10 speed.. doing 70 across pa and not dropping a gear i'm getting about 6.4mpg. thats with about 31k ish. loaded i dont have to drop a gear but i do for not beating my truck up. i'm still getting about 6ish. and thats at 71k. i say just learn your truck!
