Your right about that.

Another reason why i run under my own authority. The 1st thing i ask anyone i haul for is. WHEN YOU GOING TO PAY??? If its longer then 30days i tell them to shove it LMAO.

It was my first job as an o/o. I used to deliver fuel to one of their locations and bought the line of crap from the operations manager/recruiter that you could easily take a trash load up and backhaul the salt for a 1,000 a day net with your own truck. I tried to explain the reality of it all here.

I'm hauling propane now but have yet to work a full week due to warm weather. New customer pays direct deposit 1 week behind like clockwork. I'm spoiled now and wont take a deal that pays any other way than that. Which is what brought me to this forum ....still looking for a decent deal. New customer might have LNG work for me this spring and summer if not...maybe flatbeds? I hear thats where the best money is.

Thats the same as a "dump bucket" or dump trailer right?
What does he haul with it?
I'm starting to think that I need my own authority and a flatbed.

You have a lot more flexibility when you run your own authority and trailer. As far as this guy holding back 6 weeks, that would not go well with me. I prefer to have my money much sooner. If he goes out of business then you have lost all your efforts for 6 weeks.

Yea same thing as a dump trailer.

I dont run OTR. I have a tri/axle dump truck. when i 1st started i was leased. Then after 6 months of that BS i got my own authority. I love having my own authority. The audit wasnt that bad either.
