Made it to my delivery in Cleveland without too much problem, other than the stupid wiper blades freezing up every 5 miles. Traffic was moving around 30-40mph the whole way. I'm in Akron right now loading up for a short run to Toledo. Took an hour to drive from Cleveland to Akron, but at least I saw some wet roads. Hard to tell what US224, US250 & US20 will look like, though.

I just went and made a few quick passes with the blower. I will tell you what, for the $750 I spent on this Craftsman, it is a hell of a machine. It cut thru drifts twice as high w/o stopping. It's got the 7.5hp Briggs on it too

Indiana has declared a State of Emergency around the lake here. I-94/I-80/US30 ect are all closed so good luck getting from Chicago to Detroit LOL

Here's just a few quick snaps with the camera-phone. I lucked out cuz my house faces to the north and most of the snow drifted out back of the house. Letting the dog out was a different story LOL

i could just see my idiot 65lb boxer in that kinda snow..

Just took a look at the weather. Seems like I'll run out of the snow heading west, just past Lodi. But, it's gonna be damn cold. Toledo is 17f and calling for 8f there tonight.

So much for my idle time.

As Canadian I don't have much choice in terms of loads, unfortunately. For example now, at the end of the day on Monday, only 11 US-bound loads show within 500 mi radius of my home on the Canadian side, going to CA (2), AZ, UT, NY (2), MA, NC, TN, CT, MI (a 300 mi trip). If I'm willing to deadhead to US, there's 50 loads within 500 mi of my home (on the US side) that are going to Canada. Most of them are for Western Canada
