I got a 2006 F-350 Crew Cab w/6.0 diesel I'll sell ya. You'll just have to make more trips. :lol:

That is a really nice truck, but I would not spend that much money on one. I think that is the reason they may not be selling as well as Navistar would like. Most owner operators are not willing or able to spend that much money on a new truck. If they could get the price around $100,000 then they might begin to sell. That is still more than I would be willing to pay, but at that price more would be able to afford one. For them to do really well I think that they will need to get involved with more of the larger fleets. Price will be a major factor to attract them to the Lonestar. The Prostar is much less costly and you can find them among many fleets. International has been known as a good work truck, but has not been able to cross into the owner operator market as well as Kenworth or Peterbilt. I think that this truck has that capability, but with such a high price tag, coupled with this economy, they will find it difficult to make much penetration in the small fleets or owner operator markets.

Show 2010 389 Glider with Signature 6NZ Caterpiller for sale. This truck is capable of 801 HP and supposedly gets 8mpg for $152,000. Deffinetaly worth drooling over.

I've seen 2 Lonestars.
One of them was at the local International dealer here. I saw another one on 287, north of Ft. Worth a while back. It was a daycab, pulling a flatbed. I guess Mr International is asking too much, or not very many are fond of them. As I said, I've only seen 2. I don't travel all over the world, but you would think you would start seeing them more often. I like long hoods that have that red oval, and don't tell anyone I said this, but I kinda like the Lonestar.

International has a real uphill road to run selling the Lonestars. No many O/O want to fiddle with new emissions when they can get a glider kit spec'd well for considerably less. Also, the top management at International has been quoted as saying the O/O is a dying breed and on the way out.
I have and now own Internationals, but the Lonestar never really appealed to me. Looks like a PT Cruiser on steroids. Heck, nothing with new emissions stuff looks good to me unless it is also available as a glider. That pretty much leaves the FL Coronado and the Pete 389 that would interest me. I know, I know.... will have to deal with emissions sooner or later, but I opt for later. Especially when I can get a similarly equipped glider kit done for about $30,000 less than a new emissions equipped truck and I don't have FET to pay as well.
