Default c12 opinions?

IF we get this work we're working on i'm going to need a truck. i found a real nice shortnose 379, 430 C12, 15 speed and 3.70 rears. the truck has just over 600k on it. anyway, i havent heard much about the c12. opinions? how does it compare to a ISM? the work that we might be getting is nothing too heavy i think max 50k.

My oldman had a pete 357 tri/axle dump truck with a c-12 430hp with an 8LL. Overall it was a very good motor. Around 160,000 it blew a turbo for some reason but other then that it was no problems. That motor worked every load he haul was at the max GVW 73,280lbs for a tri axle. He sold it with 210,000 on it and his truck now has a C-15.

it seems turbos dont last on the newer motors. was the power decent? i've drivin a few c15's. i'd only get a pre emission single turbo cat. i cant deal with that kind of fuel milage. GREAT torque but the fuel milage.. eh..

We've got an 04 International with a C12 @ 430 HP in the fleet where I work.

We've got several trucks with the C12 and have had good luck with them.
