On You Tube I found a few videos a guy made that demonstrated securement, tarping etc. I don't have the links at the moment.

A year in I'm still asking shippers how guys usually secure things. Never be afraid to ask.

I pulled a flatbed for a short time. Luckily, I pulled a lot of pre-loaded trailers. When I had to strap a load, I'd use all my straps. I'm sure I looked like the Beverly Hillbillies, but my load wasn't going anywhere. :eek2:

Shippers can often be helpful when it comes to securing their cargo. If you are unsure how to secure any load it is much better to ask the shipper or another more experienced flat bed driver. Most flat bed drivers are willing to help you, if asked.

I might Try TMC this summer when i turn 23... there's a place around the corner that has vans and flatbeds but i dont know if they are hiring so i might check them out and see if i qualify..
