I can understand having oil changes done at a shop due to the waste oil & filter disposal issues, but as for grease jobs, why not just carry a grease gun and some extra tubes of grease and grease the truck and trailer yourself periodically?

That way you know all the fittings have been greased properly, and it would certainly be cheaper.

I do all my oil change & lube. but, only when I am home. no way am I going to crawl under from front of truck to back of trailer on the road. there are way to many grease fitting to get to, to do anywhere but home, if ya do yourself. I keep a special set of clothes for just a thing. I have to sit on the ground & reach up to many fitting that I cannot even see, just have to feel for them. not to mention the hot engine, trans & rears, that would make it difficult to do un less truck was cooled down.

Not to mention doing it in a urine soaked parking lot makes it extra not fun.
