I use the PSI system from the factory. About 700.00 when ordering the trailer and about 1500.00 to add on later. It doesn't give the tire pressures but is plumbed into the air system on the trailer and never lets a tire go below the psi that is set. A 5lb drop and the light comes on to warn you. It will keep a flat tire inflated up to the capacity of the trucks air compressor. I've had drivers pick up a trailer with a flat and 10-15 minutes after hooking up the tire was fully inflated and then driven to a shop.
A little expensive to retrofit but i would not buy a new trailer without it. I did retrofit the older super single trailers, i think it is a must with them.
