Cure: roll window down when going through scales!
Only problem is my 2009 Volvo the window don't roll down the whole way. ABout 2 inches stick up.

I was going through the scale in Salix, IA southbound on 29 and they got me. They are obviously looking for it there so be careful.

Did ya see the thing they use to measure the light? It hangs on the top few inches of the glass. It would look terrible but maybe you could leave the top 6 inches of the glass untinted.

I've had pretty dark tint on my Classic for several years. I roll them down when crossing scales. Haven't had any trouble yet, but I've been several years betting that I will.

Theres nothing I hate more than 48 diff. definitions and opinions (opinions fron DOT) about tint laws,....I ride bare, with a pair of terminator shades on my fat head.
I took off my visor and now I get another mile per gallon!! soon I'll be up to my goal of 17 mpg.

well if you roll across the scalles with both windows down at 15 degrees out, that might give them a hint something aint right.. be it the driver or his windows. lol.
