Hrobouczek ? went bankrupt? Ha ha ha!

They had junk trucks.

Why be an owner driver if you're gonna put yourself into a fleet piece like that?

My truck is my hotrod/toy.

I can be a co. driver if I want to drive a fleet piece.

Maybe some guys don't feel they are worthy of a real truck.

Thanks, Malaki.
I wished our trucks had Roadrangers! We have them Meritors, (however it's spelled). I've heard they are in cahoots with Roadranger, but they dont shift anything like a Roadranger!

Every autoshift I've been in has been an Eaton. I have no experience/knowledge concerning the Meritors or Roadrangers.

I would'nt spend 80-100k on a work truck that will not earn me more than a 20-30k work truck...this truck looks very clean no noticeable bent fairings...bumpers... ect ...But I'm no O/O so I'll just shut it now.

"TRL out of Penn..... they went bankrupt and Navistar repo'd their trucks, got it at auction"

TRL out of Pa didn't go bankrupt they were bought out by Prime, and they NEVER had red trucks, light blue Freightliners mostly

You're right, now I remember reading about Prime sucking up TRL (Hrobouczek). They had the Werner Blue paint mostly but in the last few years I've seen some red TRLS. Just like Werner has some black units.

How long until Prime goes belly-up? If all you lease - purchase wannabees would quit their business model would sink like the Edmund Fitzgerald.

It was a TRL truck.... the title still had the company name on it when I got it from Navistar and the decals were still on the roof farring when i looked at it....

As for your comments YerDaddy, I have a very nice 2005 Petercar but only use it in the summer time. I preffer not to get road salt and saltbrine all over the finish and I actually have quite a bit of cash invested into it. If you were at the Truck Show in Louisville this year you would have seen it in the "working class bobtail" section.

And while I drive my $25K fleet piece making the EXACT same amount per mile if not more (which I'm pretty sure I am) as your BILLY BIG RIG Hotrod, enjoy your evening at everother fuel station....

and if you want to line them up sometime we can do it just outside of Chicago at US41 Dragway, I'm best friends with the owner so just name a time and place WOOT WOOT!!!
I will even let you choose from the 3 trucks in the shop.

The high point of your life, I imagine. Downhill from there. Never been to GATS. I'm always getting my garden in at that time of the year. Priorities.

I've been known to squeeze over 8mpg from my 3406C.

Only if you have $1,000 cash dollars in your pocket. Gotta make it worth my while to put my hot nozzles in. Money talks, you know the rest.

Sorry for the slow reply. Had to see what this little forum gimmick called reputation was. Found this old thread.
