Yes.... you are clueless dumb 18 y/o kid who thinks that he knows everything....  Just like every other 18 y/o kid out there.... When you grow up to be a man and are out in the real world, one day the lightbulb will finally come on. It happened to all of us......
Clueless and dumb? Man you wish I was clueless and dumb. For your info I'm not like every 18 year old! I'm not out partying, drinking, or wasting my life away doing stupid stuff. I wouldn't say it happened to everyone cause there are some people who refuse to grow up.

I knew the truth would rear its ugly head eventually. When you first started talking about "break even", I told you your math was simply an excuse to haul cheap by not including salary in the rate. Even though you denied it, it's quite clear I was, as usual, correct.

Once again only use the information that suits your argument, look a little closer.I didn't mean that they will just give you $1k a week for nothing, but if you do a little research you will see what I am talking about........or not

$0.17 per mile. Pathetic.

Hilarious, but pathetic.
Averaged with the other freight he made about $.51/mi. for the 2300 miles he will run this week.
OOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH !!! $1150 not including salary, ROI etc.....
$1150 are the wages and the ROI is already in the $1.30 break even.

The way I see it I can be an owner operator with a base operating cost of around $1.30/mile. Charge about $1.80/mile running about 8000 miles a month and make more than I could with TMC. I'd have the freedom to take any load I want. I can be home when I want. Plus, if my truck lasted more than the three years it takes to pay it off I'd be making an extra $0.25/mi. The insurance would also go down over the next couple of years as well.
