I'm very confused right now. BD was talking about Steve. Steve and GMAN are not the same person. Steve bashed GMAN on a couple of different occasions, so maybe you are confused about that.

You have not shown the numbers are fantasy. I haven't seen where you've shown any numbers...

You sound like a cry baby. [cry]Charged doesn't listen to me I hope his daddy fails, wah wah.[/cry] Have you offered advice to anyone on this site? Gman atleast seems to be free with advice. Rev even offers some from time to time.

You've admitted yourself that the numbers are not based off of your dad's actual expenses, but are a mixture of his expenses plus what you assume are his expenses based upon what other people have said.

Other people showing their numbers does not make your numbers any more correct. Their business costs are not your dad's business costs. McDonald's business expenses are not the same as Burger King's.

You appear to be utterly incapable of grasping this elementary concept.

So what you are saying is that business expenses cannot be estimated? Assume I want to start a chain of hamburger fast food joints to serve billions of people all across the world. Couldn't I look at the business expenses of McDonalds to determine the approximate cost of operating my business?
It seems you are unable to grasp that new business owners must estimate costs.
My fathers maintenance costs have been very low over the past few months. He's replaced a few tires and has had an oil change and a light and a resister for the A/C. So, is he to divide those costs by three to figure his monthly costs for maintenance? Or is the better plan to look at what other drivers pay for their maintenance and budget accordingly?
Truck drivers have very few costs associated with doing business. The most expensive is fuel, truck payment, insurance, maintenance and trailer payment. Everything else is very low. If I had to guess I would say that most O/O's go out of business because they cannot manage their time and do not budget properly.

Tell me what expenses I have not accounted for...

It's called common sense Big Diesel, instead of discouraging new drivers you should be encouraging us. After all someone has to take your place!

I only discourage those that have no business being out there and set to fail right out of the gate..... Our village idiot charged will never get it.

And Double L needs to quit playing wannabe bbr supertrucker and let the adults play in this forum.....
Your a liar you discourage everyone! For your information I do have a CDL so you need to stop using that tired old bull crap against me and think of some better things to say.
