Default Operating Cost Forms.

Is there an online site that I can go to and type in my numbers and get my operating costs?

Thanks RostyC. Do you use loadboards and if so, which one is better? Thanks for the info.

Can't help ya there, I'm not up and running quite yet and won't be using load boards when I do. I have other things lined up. Someone will be along to help you out I'm sure.

I have used that spreadsheet a lot and I like it.

There are a number of loadboards around. We seem to have had better success with www.getloaded.com and www.internettruckstop.com. As far as which one is better, it varies. I am not sure one is better than the other.

Thanks GMAN. It seems to me that ITS has more flat loads than get loaded. But Getloaded seems to have more fetures on their site. I have been seeing that some of the same loads are on both boards. Well that is what it looks like to me. Is that common? Thanks for you help on this matter. Be SAFE.

rgarthman, you will find some of the same loads on both load boards. One thing that I have found is that the number of loads can vary by load board and region of the country. For instance, you may find more flat bed loads on ITS in the Northwest, but more on getloaded in the Mid Atlantic states. I am only using these as an example. There are some brokers, so I understand, who can post on a number of load boards at the same time.

Thanks GMAN. I didnt know if that was a normal practice of posting the same load on two or three load boards. I guess he really wants it to get moved. LOL

GetLoaded always seems good, like the way they show the credit rating of the agent/shipper. Have never looked at ITS but they may be the same. I lease to LS but have been known to "go around the system" as a lot of the LS brokers list (double broker) things they find on GetLoaded and I can use that 23% better that a LS broker
