I've been finding the opposite to be true. Since I got back on the road, I've been keeping it below 65, and have been passing big trucks left and right. The only thing that seems to be passing me is cars; and at a high rate of speed, I might add.

Im not an owner op...but the thread really isnt about owner ops.
I have noticed pretty much no changes at the Truckstops, they start filling up late afternoon/early evening, pretty much as usual. Except Friday and Saturday nights, at most Truckstops, when parking is pretty ample. Ive also noticed, like Rev said, Im noticing more and more trucks are slowing, to at the speed limit or slightly below. Im governed at 65 and it seems Im passing more trucks than I had been in the past.

I finally passed a Schneider truck today . First truck I have been able to pass the last three days. Everybody else has going by me like I was painted on the road.

I was doing every bit of the speed limit he last 2 days getting to TX. Sometimes you have to be there. Last week I was doing 65 in 75mph zones and gained +1mpg, to put me at 6.5mpg.

The % of drivers that pass you going fast probably aren't on expedited runs and just in a hurry to get to the buffet before it closes

I have noticed at the - J - in birmingham al, it is no where near as crowded as it used to be. the other day I was there between 4 & 7 p.m & there were plenty of parking spaces. very unusual at that time for that location. also the restaurant was almost empty too. not typical.
