I stay at ~60mph now with my M11 Cummins/13 SPD/22.5" lo pro and I'm consistently ~7.0 mpUSg.*** The thing is a screamer tho and according to the plate on the side of the engine peak T is at 1200 RPM. I'm turning ~1650 at 62 MPH. Way too much. If I can stop the truck long enough, I'd like to try 24.5" tall rubber. That should drop the revs to ~1450. I bet it will get me .5 mpg.
But I will have to lower the ride height 2.5" to make up for the taller tires & rims and that may put the sliding winches into the tires. ***80000 gross lbs outbound - 30000 lbs inbound - Northeast NY state. |
