Do you know anything about the MP7(365)/Allison 4500(6) combination MPG? I have been told the torque makes it feel like a much larger motor.

I know of a Oil field tanker company running several 405 horse MP7s mated to allisons that are getting in the neighborhood of 4.5-5 including all the idling they do for loading/unloading

And they do feel nice 8)

Mack has always enjoyed a good reputation for building a tough truck. I don't know about the newer trucks, but at one time they also had a reputation for having a hard ride in their road tractors. I don't think you can beat them for a dump truck. When I grew up there were a lot of their road tractors around. The first air horn I blew was a mack. I could not have been more than 2 or 3, but I still remember it.
