There was a story in the February issue of the TRUCKER magazine about a former cab driver who switched to trucking. Here's what he said in the interview, "It was a lot easier driving a cab than driving a 63 ft rig, but the money in trucking is a whole lot better. So far I"m pretty happy with my decision. In the first five and half months out here, I saw 31 states, which, to me, is pretty amazing."

This driver works for FURNITURE ROW in Denver, CO.

Default my thoughts

Limo or high end car is not a bad gig. I knew a guy(Egyptian I believe) who built a small cab company for high end clients. He was always expanding and putting his kid through college so it sounds like it might be the way to go.
