I always fill up when I get home or if I'm out on the road I fill up before I do them.

During the winter months I fuel up every single morning just in case I get caught in a storm like this last time out.

exactly Steve, in the winter we use top half of tank only, case in point got stopped in hurst, on twenty third for eighteen hours, with a accident and a winter storm it just common sense, last thing you need is to run out of fuel one it dangerous. second it is reel hard to start one of these big boys at 35 below in the winter. fueling at the beginning of each day helps with your log, you can fuel and pre trip in the same half hour saving on duty time. for IFTA we use the truck odometer, because remember, you have to match truck miles with your IFTA. both must be the same, because every mile has to be accounted for or some one thinks you are trying to cheat them of taxes

When I was shutdown in Wyoming because of the storm and winds a lot of drivers had to be taken out of their trucks because they didn't have enough fuel to make the night. The winds were to strong for anyone to continue on and there was a truck and car accident with 3 people killed going the other direction so we all had to sit until they gave the all clear. I left at 3am and only was allowed to leave because I was carrying more than 30k.

And why do people display them like awards one after another. I put my new one over the old one.
