So how well do the headlights do at night?

As far as chicken lights go, you don't have enough! But I also have 24 turn signals..so I might be a bit crazy

They throw light really well. Better than the OEM lights, in my opinion.

Those who know me well know that I hate chicken lights with a passion. It took a lot for me to do what I did. What is on there now is where it ends. And to answer the next comment: No, I am not putting light bars by the air cleaners. No friggin way.

I like everything but the fact you've taken away 1/3 of the visibility out the windshield with the bowtie visor...I can't see why those are popular.

The down side-lights are cool!!

Cuz looking cool is more important than seeing.

Seriously, the only situation I've found it annoying in is when I am the front vehicle at a stop light, and all the lights are mounted high. Otherwise, it's basically like driving with your sun visor down.

It does look cool with the hood open.
She does have a fat a$$!! That's alright though, we likes um all.... big and small. 8)

When I polished the aluminum on my truck I used MirrorX, it's an acid wash but it doesn't take all the finish off, it just strips away all the dirt and grime and such, then I started polishing from there. I actually enjoy doing that kind of stuff, I think I had probably a weeks worth of time in mine and I loved every minute of it. Don't forget to do the back side of your tanks Rev, that's when it gets fun. 8)

As a person who at first didnt think this truck would really happen, I gotta say, its turning out to be a pretty damn goiod looking original ride....I love the black parts on it, I have always like the black.painted look over the chrome look. Nice looking logo on the doors as well. That pic with the hood open does look really cool.

Hey Rev,

Hows the interior floor working out? I too had thought about ripping out my carpet and spraying it with that bedliner stuff but was not sure if it would be wise as far as noise and insulation purposes go.

I never did put down the legitimate bedliner flooring. I bought a can of it, but forgot it in my car when I went down to get the truck. ops: Right now, it just has the concrete flooring paint on it, and it is holding up so-so. I think part of the problem is that it was kind of cool outside when I first painted it, so it didn't adhere very well. I couldn't get underneath to put insulation under the cab, so the noise is definitely noticeable. I think what I will do eventually is have a stainless or diamond plate floor put in (probably powder coated black just for the wear factor), and sandwich sound deadening material underneath it between the top floor and the current floor. That should cut down on the noise quite a bit. I still like the look of the floor, and cleaning it up is a breeze. Just spray it down with all purpose cleaner, and wipe it off. Couldn't ask for anything easier than that.

Well, looks like I'm gonna have to do something since I've been one upped.

I plan to paint my Rigmaster white on the top and black on the bottom. I will put twice the amount of lights on the bottom so it will look cooler. I will also change the rubber band cover hold downs to something off a really really old car.

I honestly can't believe you'll last a week in those seats though Rev.
