Possibly. That's not the issue at hand. What is the issue is your "estimate" of 90,000 - 120,000 miles per year. I can't see any way that's going to happen in the really real world.

I'm confused, or not. The unload times are a pain, but so is household. I already asked if I have to wait for a tradeshow to end, and they said rarely. In metro areas, they have bookings coming out asap and another driver hauls it out when possible.

Lemme know how that goes for you. Somehow, I think "when possible" will very quickly turn into "we don't have anyone else around to wait for it". After all, with all the years you have in the industry, how many guys have you run across whose job was batting cleanup on trade show jobs?

I've run across plenty cleaning up tradeshow, usually from agents without their own tonnage. I've been told theres times I have to sit if I emtpy of a thursday until monday to reload. I covered my bases when interviewing them as well.

I'm confused again. How is 90-120K miles not possible? To clear you skepticism, they are based on the west coast and run a lot of water to water. To do 100K miles in 10 months is 2500/wk. Spread that over 11 months, the mileage comes down. Like I said, they haul 95% of their own bookings, and farm out the lower paying loads to the van lines.

Rev, feel free to shoot holes in the deal, seriously. There may be components I have overlooked involved in this niche. I'm not being sarcastic, I have been ignorant to a few parts of the deal that my buddy who runs speccom brought up to me, that I never thought about. Deadhead, for example. Also, how to handle tradeshows.

Did I mention the FSC is over 22% right now? 8)

One detail i forgot to add is that the revenue qutoed is between 200-250K. Its easy to paint a picture the way you want it to be viewed, as I did.

Also, we may see a lot of each other, as I'm going to be running a lot out of Madison and regional for the first month. On my off days, i can teach you how to put more than just 7K on the trailer, but on the deck!

You answered your own question. Expect those "times" to be more frequent than you're assuming.

I've heard that tune before.

At least you understand. Unlike Steve Booth, who gets his panties in a bunch whenever someone shoots a hole in his operation.

Enjoy it while it lasts.

Which is the impression I had as well. I think someone is blowing smoke up BC's butt. After all, if it were as gravy as he's making it out to be, everyone would be doing it. I know I would be.

Give it up homo, your not getting in there and you're pissed because I won't let you. Go play with someone else's panties, leave mine alone! Your like a little kid trying to get a rise out of everyone. Do everyone a favor and go away, take Diesel breath with you too. You offer nothing to this forum at all and your only purpose is to create conflict, hence your name.
