Tax shelters

Does anyone know how these operate, and in what way, if any, they can be leveraged by an owner op ? Thanks.

What type of tax shelter are you referring? There are a number of things which could be considered a tax shelter. Real estate could be considered a tax shelter. Essentially, a tax shelter is anything which allows you to pay less income tax.
