HEY GUYS,
I WAS BACKING IN A TRUCK STOP AND HIT A TRUCK ops: I HAD TO GO TO THE BATHROOM...
THE COP CAME AND TOOK A REPORT. I HAD REPORTED TO MY COMPANY ETC.
IS IT GOING TO HURT ME A LOT? INSURANCE? DAC?

It's not the end of the world tho. I hope you've learned that lesson.

Yeah, it will be listed as a preventable accident. Check with your insurance company. Might jump up some.

Depends on the company you're with, how long you've been there, and how they see you as an employee. Some companies have policies where they automatically fire a driver that has an accident in the first year. Most are more lenient, especially in the case of minor accidents. How much damage was there? Companies aren't particularly concerned about increasing their driver pools right now so they're less likely to conveniently overlook some things. Having said that, you're probably ok. But you'll be on a short leash for quite awhile...don't let it happen again anytime soon.

it is gonna be 1 year in december. they like me and i like them. the damage is less than $1000. i guess i will find out. on the riport the officer put down my personal info, not the company who i leased for. dose it help anything? my insurance through them.
